MAUTECH 2017/18 Calendar of Important Dates & Events for 1st & 2nd Semester

Following the February 4, 2018 students’ unrest, I wish to present an adjustment to the approved calendar of important dates and events of the University for 2017/2018 academic session.

Academic division will later present a detail Commencement of 2017/2018 Academic Session:

COMPLETION OF FIRST SEMESTER 2017/2018 ACADEMIC SESSION

A. 300-500 Level Students 

• Opening: Monday May 7th- Sunday May 13th 2018 (1 Week)
• Examinations Period: Monday May 14th – Tuesday May 29th 2018 (2 Weeks)
• End of First Semester Holiday: Friday June 1st – Saturday July 14th, 2018 (6 Weeks)

B. 100-200 Level Students 

• Opening: Tuesday May 21st – Sunday May 27th, 2018 (1Week)
• Lectures Period: Monday May 28th – Saturday June 16th 2018 (3 Weeks)
• Revision:  Monday June 18th- Saturday June 23rd 2018 ( 1 Week)
• Examinations Period: Monday June 25th – Saturday July 7th 2018 (2 weeks)
• End of First Semester Holiday: Monday July 9th – Saturday July 14th 2018 (1 Week)

SECOND SEMESTER 2017/2018 SESSION

• Lectures Period: Monday July 16th – Saturday October 13th (13 Weeks)
• Examinations Period: Monday October 22nd – Saturday Nov. 10th 2018 (3 Weeks)
• Marking & Project Defense: (Monday Nov. 12th — Saturday Nov. 24th 2018  (1 Week)
